Our opening hours

April to June & September:

  • Ars: 10am – 12pm / 2pm – 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
    2pm – 6pm, Mondays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Trévoux: 10am – 12pm / 2pm – 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
    2pm – 6pm, Mondays, Sundays and public holidays.

July-August:

  • Ars: 10am – 12:30pm / 2pm – 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
    2pm to 6pm, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Trévoux: 10am – 12:30pm / 2pm – 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
    2pm – 6pm, Sundays and public holidays.

October to March:

  • Ars: 10am – 12pm / 2pm – 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
    2pm – 5pm, Mondays, Sundays and public holidays.
  • Trévoux: 2pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday (+ Sundays and public holidays in October and March).
    10am – 12pm / 2pm – 5pm, Saturdays only.

By bike

On the La Voie Bleue Moselle Saône à vélo, exit at Trévoux and take the route Trévoux – Ars-sur-Formans – Ambérieux-en-Dombes from l’Ain à vélo ;

On itineraries 17 or 5 of l’Ain à vélo, follow Ambérieux-en-Dombes then, follow Ars-sur-Formans.

By car

  • On the A6 coming from Lyon towards Paris, at Villefranche-sur-Saône take exit 31-2 then follow Jassans-Riottier.
  • Coming from Paris, take exit 31-1 then follow Bourg/Jassans-Riottier-Ars.

By train

From Lyon: TER Dijon – Mâcon – Lyon. Stop at Villefranche-sur-Saône station. From the station, take the A19* bus line to Ars-sur-Formans.

By bus

  • A19 bus line from Bourg-en-Bresse (01) or Villefranche-sur-Saône (69)
  • Saônibus networks:
    • 3 regular lines (1, 2 and 3)
    • 4 on-demand lines (A, B, C and D)

On the La Voie Bleue Moselle Saône à vélo ;

On routes 17 or 5 of l’Ain à vélo, follow Ambérieux-en-Dombes and Ars-sur-Formans then, follow Trévoux.

The tourist information office in Trévoux is labeled Accueil vélo.

By car
From Lyon take the A6, direction Paris. Exit at Villefranche-sur-Saône or A 46, exit n°2 Trévoux.

By train
From Lyon: TER Dijon – Mâcon – Lyon, two possibilities:

  • Stop at Anse station. At the station, then take the Saônibus line 1 shuttle;
  • Stop at Saint-Germain-au-Mont-d’Or station, then take the Saônibus line 2 shuttle (on request).
