The medieval town of Trévoux has a rich history, as evidenced by its “City and Region of Art and History” designation. A visit to the former Principality of Dombes allows you to explore iconic sites at your own pace, such as the Carré Patrimoines, the Parliament of Dombes, and the fortified castle. To ensure you don’t miss any of the town’s highlights, the Ars Trévoux Tourist Office offers a walking discovery tour. At each stop along the route, a plaque provides information about the building. You’ll start at the Passerelle to take in the view of the medieval town. This vantage point lets you step back and appreciate the town’s details.
