Rock in Rancé

  • The "Brown Stone of Rancé" rests beneath an oak tree in a field south of the place called "le Limandas". This gigantic, tranquil rock holds a record: made of granite and weighing 300 tonnes, it is the largest glacial erratic boulder in the Dombes region.
