Our advice

Passionate about artistic encounters?
Don't miss THE monthly event: Le Marché de la Création à Trévoux. On the first Sunday of every month, dozens of artists and craftspeople set up shop on the banks of the Saône (April to September) or at the Salle des fêtes. You'll be seduced by their know-how and the originality of their creations!

Incubators of beautiful encounters

on the Blue Way

When you drop in to La Roue Libre bike café, you’ll be greeted by Damien, Greg and their team, incubators of great encounters and distillers of good cheer. Whether you’re a cyclo-voyageur, a local or a tourist, you’ll appreciate the warm welcome you’ll receive here.

A land of enthusiastic creators...

You'll art-do them!

Installed Rue[s] des Arts in Trévoux, Fareins, Ars-sur-Formans… come and meet the artists and craftsmen who will be presenting their shared passion: Art.

Get your hands dirty and discover their different worlds up close at workshops offered throughout the year: drawing, sculpture, pottery, sewing…

Bonus: this year, don’t miss the unmissable ArtFareins Sculpture Biennial! A fifth edition that will put stars in your eyes with works exhibited in Fareins but also echoed in the surrounding villages.

Sharing passions!

At our place, you’ll also meet history buffs. Gold shooters from the Privals association will reveal the most precious secrets of the ancient Principality of Dombes during a demonstration on an antique machine. Members of the Astrid association, meanwhile, will let you in on all the secrets of the Trévoux dictionary and the memoirs published by the Jesuits.

Don’t miss the pétanque or boule lyonnaise enthusiasts, who meet on the banks of the Saône to spend a convivial moment, where children and elders alike, share their passion for the game of boules.
